The
Church
is important.
God want Christians
to meet together
and to spend time
together, praying
and praising him and also working
for him.
Other Christians
can help you a lot
when you are a Christian.
If you have a problem
they can pray with
you and help you
to decide what to
do.
If you are upset,
they can cheer you
up. And if you are
really happy, it
is good to have
someone to share
it with We need
other people around
us to help us when
we are feeling close
to God and when
we are feeling far
away – especially
if the rest of your
family don’t
believe in God.
When Jesus went
back to heaven,
the disciples
were left on earth
to tell people
all about what
Jesus had done.
Today, the Church
is God’s
voice.
What the
Church does helps
people to see
what God is like.
If we do our job
properly, more
people will become
Christians. If
we don’t
do our job well,
people will think
that God isn’t
important.
