John Chapter 10 verses 11 and 14)

Where Jesus lived, sheep needed a shepherd every minute if the day. In dry and stony country a shepherd knew where to find water and grass. He was around to protect the sheep from snakes and scorpions in the daytime and from wolves at night. If they were sick or hurt he looked after them, and if one of them got lost he would go anywhere, do anything to find them.
Like a good shepherd Jesus will look after us.
With Jesus beside us we need never feel frightened or lonely or lost.
